About the project
A digital platform bringing Waterford’s museums, attractions and experiences into one destination.
A new website for one of the Great Gardens of the World — seventy acres of woodland garden, a four-acre walled garden and a 1760 country house in Kilmeaden, Co. Waterford — bringing tickets, stays, dining, events and membership into one place.
Services delivered

Mount Congreve is home to one of the largest private plant collections in the world: seventy acres of woodland garden, a four-acre walled garden, 16 km of walkways and a house built in 1760. Reopened after a €6 million investment, the estate now offers far more than a garden visit — overnight stays in gate lodges and forest cabins, the Stables Café, afternoon tea, guided tours, weddings, a school of horticulture and a year-round events programme. The website had to present all of this clearly, sell tickets, rooms, gift cards and memberships online, and stay easy for the estate team to update.
One site built around the visitor journey: discover the gardens, plan the visit, book — and come back.
Clear paths for day visitors, overnight guests, members and groups — from the first screen to the booking.
A responsive WordPress build with reusable blocks for gardens, trails, treasures, accommodation, events and offers.
One content model for gardens, events, listings, menus and offers — opening hours, prices and what’s on managed by the estate team.
Tickets, rooms, gift cards, memberships and donations bookable online, with an illustrated estate map and newsletter sign-up.
What changed for visitors and the estate team.
Garden tickets, stays, gift cards, memberships and event tickets in a single flow — book direct for the best rates.
Opening hours, pricing, trails, the estate map and getting-here details are one click from the home page.
Events, offers, menus and seasonal updates are published by the estate team without developer support.
New experiences like Gardens & Grandeur, the School of Horticulture and FOXFORD launch as pages on the same foundation.
