A subscription app of audio stories for Romanian children. Stories are read by professional voice actors and vetted by psychologists, so children can listen and drift off to sleep without a screen.

The Challenge
Parents in Romania wanted good stories in their own language that didn’t mean more screen time. StoryBook set out to build one: original stories voiced by actors, checked by psychologists and released every week, with enough calm for bedtime. The app had to feel simple enough for a parent at the end of a long day, play reliably offline, handle monthly and annual subscriptions, and give the content team a way to keep new stories, songs and animations coming.
The Solution
A story library built for listening, not watching.
Audio player
Story playback with autoplay, background music and ambient sounds, plus downloads for listening offline.
Record your own
Parents can record a story in their own voice and play it back to their child.
Content & discovery
Bedtime stories, animated stories, songs and a “Did you know?” section of fun facts, with push notifications when new stories land.
Subscriptions & accounts
Monthly and annual plans, redeem codes, one account across devices, and an educational dashboard that tracks listening time and progress.
